FAQ
Anionic vs Cationic PAM?
Anionic (APAM) for mining, sand washing, and industrial wastewater. Cationic (CPAM) for sludge dewatering and organic waste.
How to dissolve PAM?
Dissolve slowly (0.1-0.3%) with gentle mixing for 30-60 min. Avoid high speed to prevent chain breakage.
Shelf life?
12 months in sealed packaging. Once dissolved, use within 24-48 hours.
How to choose molecular weight?
Higher MW for faster settling (mining), lower MW for better mixing. Use jar test to optimize.
Dosage for sludge?
Typically 3-8 g/kg dry solids for CPAM. Conduct bench-scale test for specific sludge.
